Hello, welcome to 'My online Driving Instructor'! My name is Wendie Barker and I am a UK fully qualified Driving Instructor. For the last 11 years I have run 'Bee Free Driving School' in South London.

I love to teach and try to make learning a fun process where the learner is involved in the learning process.

My aim for this blog is to support and encourage you whether you are a new driver or been driving for years to be a safer, better informed driver.

I will share useful information and answer any questions you may have about driving, whether you are a learner or have been driving several years. Driving is a skill for life and you should reflect on your driving skills and knowledge throughout your driving career. 

Imagine, a pilot does not just do 40 hours training, get their licence and then fly planes however they want for the next 40 years! No a pilot has to have ongoing training to keep their skills and knowledge uptodate, so why not car drivers??

Anyway as you can tell I am passionate about road safety and teaching people to look after themselves and others on the roads and I look forward to sharing your 'driving journey' with you!
